Users who are in the Office 2010 Technical Preview program can generate a product key in Microsoft Connect, which can work to start the setup installation of Office 2010 Beta 2 and properly activate the installed Office productivity suite. However, the serial keys cannot be used to activate the product, so most functions are disabled.
